Anne de Beauchamp, Countess of Warwick, was born in 1426 to the 13th Earl of Warwick, Richard de Beauchamp, and his second wife, Isabel le Despencer.
The title, and the ownership of Warwick Castle, originally passed from Anne's father to her brother Henry, and then to Henry's daughter (also called Anne!) However, Henry's daughter Anne died as a child, and the title and castle passed to my character in 1449.
She was married to Richard Neville, who was also known as Warwick the Kingmaker, and they had two children, Lady Isabel Neville who married George duke of Clarence and Lady Anne Neville who married Richard duke of Gloucester, the future Richard III. Both men were brothers of Edward IV
Anne died in 1492.
