How soon should I contact the Lion Rampant?
We are usually booked a year in advance - the closer to your date you contact us the less likely we will be able to help you although you never know!
Is my venue too far away?
Although we prefer venues in the South East of England, we have travelled as far as Austria several times. Please contact
as early as possible to discuss.
Is The Lion Rampant right for my event/venue?
We have provided entertainment at almost every type of venue, so please contact us at

Does the Lion Rampant work with other groups?
The Lion Rampant works well as either the headline/sole entertainment provider as well as part of a team of providers.
Does the Lion Rampant re-enact a specific event or period?
The Lion Rampant is an entertainment and display society and covers 1250-1450 (approximately). This gives us the flexibility to show the progression of armour and costume during this period.
What do I need to think about?
The Lion Rampant will often arrive the day before an event to set up the arena. Many of the group will live in the arena/pavillions for the duration of the event, and as such will need access to water, toilets within the site, as well as access to the site out of hours.Due to the high value of the equipment used (including weapons), security of the site during the event and out of hours must be considered.The Lion Rampant does not use electronic amplification during its shows, so if there are other attractions such as fun-fairs, generators, or other loud noises at or near the event this should be taken into consideration and discussed with our bookings team.Cost - this is dependant on many factors, but what you want in your event, how long your event is, and how far we need to travel are all part of the equation.
